What is animal abuse?:
Cruelty to animals, also called animal abuse or animal neglect, is the human pain of suffering or harm upon non-human animals, for purposes other than self-defense or survival.
Why does it happen?:
It happens because some people don't mean to hurt animals. They don't even know they are abusing animals. Sometimes people abuse animals to mess around with their pet or animal and laugh then keep messing with them, this is intentional animal abuse. When people literally hurt and probably kill their pet or animal you need to get the federal authorities. When people abuse animals the nearest witnesses should call the police and tell them what they see and hear.
What can you do about?:
Call the police.
Start a petition.
Speak around the world.
These are just a few of the things you can do to at least get people to report and know what animal abuse is.
